Privacy policy.

This notice explains what personal data Fusion Technologies Ltd collects through this website, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have under UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Who we are

Fusion Technologies Ltd is a company registered in England and Wales (company number 16337685). In this notice, “we”, “us” and “our” means Fusion Technologies Ltd. We are the data controller for any personal data collected through this website.

You can contact us at hello@fusiontechnologies.io for any privacy-related question or request.

2. What we collect

We collect personal data in three ways:

  • Information you give us. When you submit our audit form, request a call, or otherwise contact us, we collect your name, company name, work email, website URL, and anything you choose to tell us in free-text fields (for example, the challenge you’d like us to look at).
  • Conversation data. If you use the chat widget on this site, we process the messages you send so that an AI assistant can respond. Conversation transcripts may be retained for quality and follow-up purposes.
  • Technical and usage data. When you visit the website we automatically collect limited technical information such as your IP address, device and browser type, pages viewed, referrer, and approximate location. This is collected via Google Analytics and our own first-party tracking script.

3. How we use your data

We use personal data to:

  • respond to enquiries and prepare proposals you’ve asked for;
  • deliver, support and improve our services and this website;
  • send relevant follow-up communications about your enquiry;
  • send marketing emails or messages where you have opted in, or where we have a legitimate interest and you have not opted out;
  • operate our internal CRM and analytics;
  • comply with our legal and accounting obligations.

4. Legal bases

We rely on the following lawful bases under UK GDPR:

  • Consent — for non-essential cookies, marketing communications, and chat interactions you initiate.
  • Legitimate interests — for responding to enquiries, basic site analytics, security, and limited B2B follow-up. Our legitimate interest is to run and grow our business.
  • Contract — where processing is necessary to take pre-contract steps at your request, or to deliver a service we’ve agreed to provide.
  • Legal obligation — where we’re required to retain records (for example for tax and accounting).

5. Cookies and tracking

This site uses:

  • Google Analytics (cookie prefix _ga) to understand how visitors use the site in aggregate.
  • Fusion CRM tracking, a first-party script that attributes enquiries to their source and lets us follow up on forms you submit.
  • Strictly necessary cookies for things like keeping modals and chat sessions working.

You can clear or block cookies in your browser at any time. Doing so may affect how parts of the site work.

6. Who we share data with

We do not sell your personal data. We share it only with trusted service providers who help us run the business, including:

  • Google (analytics);
  • Anthropic (powering the chat widget);
  • Twilio (SMS / WhatsApp communications, where applicable);
  • Vercel (website hosting);
  • Supabase (database and authentication);
  • Postmark (transactional and marketing email delivery).

Some of these providers process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on UK-approved safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement, the UK Addendum to the EU Standard Contractual Clauses, or the UK Extension to the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

7. How long we keep it

We keep personal data only for as long as we need it. Enquiry and CRM records are typically retained for up to 3 years from our last meaningful interaction with you. Records we are legally required to keep (such as invoices) are retained for 6 years. Analytics data is retained for the period configured in Google Analytics. You can ask us to delete your data sooner — see section 9.

8. How we protect it

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including TLS in transit, encrypted databases, role-based access control, and least-privilege access for our team. No system is perfectly secure — if we ever become aware of a breach affecting you, we’ll notify you and the ICO as required by law.

9. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • access the personal data we hold about you;
  • have inaccurate data corrected;
  • have data erased in certain circumstances;
  • restrict or object to processing;
  • request portability of data you provided to us;
  • withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the legal basis;
  • opt out of marketing at any time using the unsubscribe link in our emails or by emailing us.

To exercise any of these rights, email hello@fusiontechnologies.io. We’ll respond within one month.

10. Complaints

If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113.

11. Children

This website is intended for business users and is not directed at children under 16. We don’t knowingly collect personal data from children.

12. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of the page reflects the most recent version. Material changes will be highlighted on the site.
